Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin – skin may become dry, itchy or reddened. Dermatitis can be experienced as a side-effect of chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Creams may be prescribed by the hospital to treat the dermatitis. Homeopathic calendula cream has also been shown in studies to help with dermatitis caused by radiotherapy or chemotherapy
